Ben z Pytlakova Dvora is a striking solid black AKC German Shepherd Dog, hailing from Czechoslovakia and brought to the United States in 2021 to enrich our breeding program. His impressive lineage includes the Champion Sire, Karo z Udoli Upy, and Dam, Catrin Tespo Bohemia.

Ben commands attention with his stature, standing as a large male weighing 100 lbs, characterized by a robust build, a commanding square head, and sturdy bones. His coat, tight and short, complements his physique. Ben exhibits a strong inclination towards prey, ball, and hunt drives, demonstrating his inherent agility and focus.

Equipped with natural protective instincts and trained in Slovakian obedience commands, Ben excels as a proficient guard dog, ensuring security with his vigilant presence.

A DNA Health Screen performed by Embark Vet showed Ben to be a non-carrier of 11 breed-relevant genetic conditions including Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) N/N and a non-carrier of 211 additional genetic conditions. Ben's Hip/Elbow x-rays were evaluated as good.
